I can understand Leathermans being quality tools, and quality tools cost more than junk tools. But does anybody know why the Juice series of pocket-sized tools costs nearly as much as the ST-300? As prices are right now I can get two of the Sidekick or Wingman series for the price of a single Juice on Amazon. What is it about the smaller models that brings in the same bucks of the bigger models?

Complexity. The design of the Juice with the multiple backsprings, separate scales and liners, and retaining clamps makes them more difficult to assemble.
