Sent LE GW to Busse for a very small sratch removal and got

it back and the blade has been reprofiled. It has a sharper point, seems they took a little belly out. It would be great on my user but I had planned to keep the LE snake mint in case I ever need to sell one of my two Le's.

Is this going to hurt the resale any ?

I do not have a pic to put up, will try to get wife to help me with that, But my friends and wife can even tell Diff.

What do you think I should do, if anything?

It could be there way of telling me don't send a knife back with a tiny scatch, or could have thought I would like it more since they were doing some sent back Ram GW's along that time?????
 
You now have a unique Custom Shop modded LE... The only one! IF ya don't like it, LOL Perhaps we can talk (I'm talkin' straight trade, m'boy!). heh-heh! ;) :D Got PIX?
 
Don't worry about the resale value. Sell it to me as a user and keep the others.
On the other hand, I suspect anything done from the factory will not hurt the resale value.

Not sure why they would take any off blade when only had small sratch near back, that was there when I got it.

It was a couple weeks ago, I hate to call because I don't think anything could be done to put it back now.

yes, it is now worthless. but i will send you a pair of pliers as consolation, just send me the gw.
 
If "the shop" did the mod, it can only enhance the value. I would bet they felt it was a favor they were doing.

Hey, what do you mean "The only GW variant", I got lots of GW variants by Grinducci! Oh, I guess you mean variants from Busse. Send that knife to me, I'll really make it something special for you!!! :eek:
