I am planning on going through my whole collection and photographing cataloging and cleaning everything. Witch should I use? I have used a silicone cloth in the past with good results but I was thinking of going with the Renaissance Wax. My biggest concern with the wax is that I have a lot of CaseXX knives that are engraved and I am worried that it will collect and be a pain in the engravings. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Based on Fullofleads experiments I would go with Tufcloth marine.

From my own experience, I found Tuff-Cloth OK with non-plastic knives.

But, for long term storage (or natural scale materials), I found Renaissance Wax better. There is a possible discoloration issue with the Tuff products and I found it could occassionally muck up the workings of some knives.

Just don't slop on the Renaissance Wax and it should be fine.
