Has anyone tried using Smooth Kote with BP200 0 on a Sebenza.

Sentry Solutions Hi-Slip Grease works excellent on the pivot bearing and thrust washers on the Sebenzas.

While Smooth Kote will work as a fine lube itself, it was primarily developed for firearms maintenance. Barrel bores and revolver cylinders can benefit with a worked in coat of Smooth Kote. A slick surface film is left after treatment for the purposes of less fouling/ buildup and higher velocities. While I' ve not timed bullet velocity I' ve certainly noticed that cleanup takes a bit less time after the treatment. The powder works well in those hard to reach places when complete takedown is not desireable.

I've never used Smooth Kote or BP2000, but I've tried Tuff Glide. In fact I just put Tuff Glide in my sebenza the day before yesterday. It didn't work too well, the action wasn't nearly as smooth as before. So I disassembled my knife and flushed it out. Then I put Reeve Flourinated Grease and now it's smoother than a baby's bottom. I'm not downing Tuff Glide though, it works great for my other knives. I can only use the grease on my sebenza because it's so thick.
