Does any one know of a good, trust worthy, reasonable, search engine optamization outfit for a small business?
I've lost a lot of money looking for the right company and wanted to see if you guys had any leads.

Kind regards

Lots of scammers out there, including some BF spammers.

Read this to understand the basics and whether you need help:

Do not build your web site using Flash.

How complex of a website do you need?

Our company website is built with Wordpress. SEO features are built into WP itself; more are included within the individual Themes; and Plugins provide additional features, SEO checks, and customization.

The cost for all of this is fairly reasonable, about $3/mo for hosting a small website and $9/yr for domain registration.

Agree. Run several websites on WordPress. As simple or complex as you want, good SEO, plenty of third party plug-ins for more options, SEO and otherwise.

Since you have spent so much money and time on SEO and there should be some profits, I believe. However, it indeed takes a certain time to see its influence on the website. If you want to see a quick ROI, you can consider SEM which can show you quick profit. I myself is doing SEO and I have to say you need be patient when you only adopt SEO strategy. If you are interested, please leave me a message and we can have further communication.

Thank you for all the replies. I've had my website up for about 4 years. My wife usually took care of this end of the business for me. She passed October 8 2014. So I've been doing my best with what I know, which isn't much. My pops is computer literate, he said all key words are in place behind the scenes , and have been this way for a while. I just cancelled Google adwords express, lost $250 in about 5 days without one customer calling. A lot of solicitors. Lol

I just contacted a company called Net success usa. I just don't trust them, there are scammers everywhere. I take all the risk, company takes my money.

Give me a call at 1-866-413-0951 (I am in the Pacific time zone) and I can give you some free advice on whether SEO is your best approach and how to go about it. I am a marketing consultant who has done
SEO for some clients, but the whole SEO industry is in flux right now so what worked a year ago isn't working any more. And most companies aren't willing to do what actually works now.

Krav, I'm kind of curious. Is your website not showing up on Google searches, or are you having some other marketing or technical issues?

Something I've noticed with my personal photography website(s), if I search Google for a famous place I've covered my site doesn't show well because there is so much material out there already, and on other websites that are older and more established. But if I search for an obscure or out-of-the way location that I've done, my page returns right near the top. I've also noticed my site(s) moving up in generic-term search results the longer the websites are online.
I've also read that frequent updates and regular additions of fresh content improve search results.

My websites have no special SEO efforts, and I pay $0 to outside consultants or ad firms.

I built and maintain our company website as well. We provide a very specialized service, unique with no direct competition. So a web search for anything even similar to the name of our service returns pages of only directly relevant content with our company webpages right at top. Our only SEO effort is a Wordpress plugin.
