September 11 remembrance

No matter how many years that go by I will always get shivers thinking about what happened. I was visiting my parents in Clifffside, NJ at the time. We could see the Twin Towers from their balcony that overlooks the Hudson River. We watched the Towers fall with our own eyes. I will never forget the horror of those moments or the heroics of the first responders as we watched the rest of that day unfold on TV....

It is a day that I will never forget and I hope the rest of America does not either. My heart goes out to all the one that lost their lives and their loves ones left behind. Thanks for the post Jon917.

Seldom find myself lacking words but, have never found many for this....
God Bless the Victims and their Loved Ones, God Bless ALL who were touched.

I was at work in London and caught the news live via Quicktime, I sat in utter shock, horror and near disbelief at the footage.

I remember thinking to myself that the world as I knew it would never be the same and those images are etched into my memory.

Its a sad day and my thoughts are with those whose lives were taken and those whose lives were effected by this disgusting act.

For all the recent and historic tragedies.
