September 2021 BOTM - 301 Stockman 420HC FFG Long Pull, Black Burlap Micarta

Hey! Just logged in to see if anyone had started a thread yet, cool!

I'm still hoping for a 119 in 3V, not too picky about handle but I do love micarta...but a throwback leather stack would also be cool. I'd definitely buy two, one for our collection, and one to beat on inna woods. ;)

Wouldn't 5160 be a good steel for the 124?
Or good 'Ol 1055/1060/1065/1070/1080/1095.
1055 to 1085 are used in machettes and (real) swords, so should be tough enough for what a 124 is likely to be used for. :)

The only thing I'm sure about concerning the Sept. BOM is:
(A) it won't be un-expensive.
(B) September 2001 is the 20th Anniversary of 9-11, so there might be a "NEVER FORGET" blade etch, or other rememberance or whatever you want to call it, for those who perished. (The innocents who only went to their office job in the towers, the police and fireman, pilots, crew, and pasengers of all the aircraft involved, etc)

I’d like to see another 110 in S35vn. I missed getting the Sept 2019 110 , I’m still keeping an eye out for one. From the knives I have in S35vn they perform better than anything I’ve used. They seem to stay sharp longer and when they do get a bit dull a quick lick or two and they’re back to screaming sharp.

Still don’t have any knives in s45vn so I wouldn’t mind getting one to try if they are reasonably priced.

Yes the sept Botm in 2019. Very nice. And the 112. Quite a pair. Hope to see something along these lines vs a Spitfire.

Wow that’s a great pair! I did get one of the 112 and it’s a great knife. Maybe someday I’ll find a 110 to match it. Btw, that’s a nice photo!

happy BDay. id prefer the large size myself, but if were wishlisting......an xl version ive been whining about on here forever.......
After handing a few XL folding knives from another manufacturer, I now see what jb is onto here and he is absolutely correct. There is a gap in the list of products and hopefully Buck can come up with something in that range.

I'm hoping to try out the new 040 Onset someday. It looks like it may offer a larger grip for those of us with L to XL glove requirements.
