As I was doing some yard work this morning and dropping a 110 back into my pocket, I got to thinking about the upcoming Buck of the Month. The BOTM program saves me a lot of money. I hold off on buying knives just in case the BOTM is awesome, but then I rarely actually buy the BOTM. Either way is a win in my book.

I think I'd open my wallet this month if Buck gave us a red 309 that matches those fire engine 301's floating around here. A stacked leather 102 would also do the trick.

What are you hoping to see?

Don't give up on your dreams! At least one of us is behind you all the way.

I’ll never give up, I wished for a clip point 501 for years and we finally got one. The hope lives! 😅
Your hope 301 knife SHOULD be affordable.
😊

I'm tired of special knives having to cost north of $200
Agreed. I understand cost, production, materials and the like. But to me, a big part of Buck is affordable American made knives and tools. Yes there are less expensive options in the Buck lineup, but the special runs aren’t over a hundred dollars each better than standards (and sometimes more).

With hunting season here I was eyeing some sort of 102 to try this year. A 102 would be great

An ultralight backpack hunting knife per my recent thread request in honor of elk season 😀

Perhaps a 110 slim made ultralight in some way.

No matter what it is, if it's stainless, no cerakote please.

I'm gonna be a grumpy old man today and tell people what I no longer want. I no longer want a 301, unless it is a pre 1986 with either stag or micarta scales. And since I'm being a dreamer I'll have carbon steel blades too.
I hope it isn't bad form to comment on my own comment. I could go for a 2023 301 three blade stockman with stag scales and 154CM steel. That is something I would pay $200 for.
