Looks like the ASTK got snagged by a stealth shark. I'm kind of shocked that the other two are still there. That R-5 looks like it will make a nice hunting knife and that 16.5" Chiruwa AK is really sweet!! Anyone thats in the Market for an Ang Khola should seriously look into snagging this one.

I know... it seems i picked a slow day to start this off.
Theyr'e all nice pieces. The epoxy on the CAK doesnt even show and it's choppin' fool...... nice grippy handle, ready to work!

One of the reasons why that AK appeals to me is because the handle looks so grippy! Normally I take 400 or 600 grit sand paper to mine after the first use or to to add in the grip. When I first saw the handle I had not read the description yet so I thought "Man, who ever made that intended it to be used out of the box. The handle looks perfect, if it was mine I wouldn't need to rough it up". This would make some one a great 1st Khukri or 2nd or 3rd... ;)

Stealth Shark. Yes, I like the sound of that :D

Sometimes Stealth sharking is the way to do it. ;) The Duck was famous for it years ago and I've been known to do it from time to time. :D So you all better watch out when I have some more play money. LOL!!

I think i may have just found my first khukuri.....email sent on the AK..hopefully it's still available

I hope you score that blade! It looks like a sweet user. Please let us know if you got it and after you do ;) how you like it. Please remember to read the safety thread, it is a must for people new to Khukris.

Yep just sent the funds on it. Actually i ordered two khukuri's tonight. Also ordered a "panawal power" with western style handle from KHHI. Looking for a stout chopper. I'll get both give them a test drive and keep the one I prefer and sell the other to my brother or a friend.

Lucky Strike,

I'm sorry the CAK is sold. I didnt recieve an email from you as listed at the top of the thread.
If you paid by sending it to Auntie Yangdu, you were mistaken and should have waited for an invoice. Unfortunately, any refund May have to wait until she returns from Nepal next month. On a postive note, she may just have a CAK to send you when she returns.

EDIT: If Auntie contacts me from Nepal, we will see if we can get you refunded sooner if that is what you wish.

I'm the buyer from Oregon that emailed you and sent payment. I had such a hard time deciding on my first khukuri that I ended up ordering two :) I'll only be able to keep one but at least this way I'll know for sure that I'm keeping the one that is best for me

Ah, Alrighty then. Good thing i wont have to tear my hair out now, as i'm already bald!
Welcome and May your khukuri's serve you well!

Welcome back General Singh! It's nice to know you have a good home now. I wish the new owner and you will develop close relationships and be safe, ASTK is one fierce knife!

Thanks JayG! I've been looking for this exact one for a while. Although I didn't know it till I saw it :cool:

My ASTK has gone through devilish custom officer, cracked on chiruwa handle, endured cycles of deadly lemon patina and quite possibly my go-to khuk anytime.

I bet that CAK polishes up real nice, 16.5" was what I was looking for too. Why can't my payday coincide with a DOD ?....Mercy.
