This year is flying by and we have been very blessed with good sales and new projects to work on. If you have an order in with me, please let me apologize for being a little behind, and a lot behind in a few of cases. We are getting back with the Branton / Brend folders and hope to get some of those orders completed in the next few weeks. Recently, I was hired by a film company to train actress, Salma Hayek in the fine art of knife throwing for a large budget film that will be out after the first of the year. The movie will star Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz. I also designed and made the knives for the movie. I just got back from L.A., where I spent the labor day week end traing Salma. I am waiting for confirmation to see if I will be going to Mexico to be on the set to coach her while she shoots her throwing scenes. We are getting closer to seeing some Brend hatchets hit the streets. I will have two versions available. I do not have any pricing info at this time. I was lucky to get a nice mention in a Japanese magazine. I can't read the article, but it has nice pics. I'll post them below. We are doing well with the Branton / Ehlers designs and we have a couple more pieces coming out soon.

I saw somewhere on your site a knife called Vorpal. Is this the knife that I read about in Fighting knives way back, featured with what looked like s lick shoulder rig?

Is the Brend axe gonna be a different design then the one by ATC?

The Vorpals were featured in Fighting Knives a while back. Some of the designs have been changed slightly. I will offer the Brend hatchet in two sizes. One will be the standard model and one deluxe model which will be larger.

You guys are pitiful. It took four responses before anyone even mentioned one of the best looking in the world ... woops, is my wife looking? :D

Oh and , congratulations Bobby. I hope that this is just the beginning.

It is part of the Vorpal line that I purchased from Tom in 2000.
I purchased the rights to all Vorpal designs.
