This is the one piece I brought back from Reno. It was unengraved a the show, but really comes alive with the engraving.

It is my coffin model self lock. The frame is 416ss with seraphinite stone inlays. The stone comes from Russia, and has a really cool chatoyance. Kind of a green version of charoite.

The blade is forged 52100 ( made for the ABS show, had to be forged).

The engraving is laden with 24k gold inlays. In the design, if the leaf turns over, I accented that with an inlay. The contrast of the green with the gold makes the stones character stand out even more.

Hope you enjoy, feel free to contact me for more details.

I am headed out the door for the Tucson Gem Show and plan to look at some Seraphinite. Maybe a couple pieces for a display stand. Thats a beauty Baily. I'd be interested in your comments on working the mineral, tools, difficulties , etc. I sent you a PM. Kevin

Very nice knife, and the pictures are much, much improved! Congrats!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Joss,

The real difference in the pictures is the camera I was useing. I have a Sony , 4.1 meg, but it just wouldn't focus and gather the light. I borrowed my daughter's camera and ......bing bang...instant improvement.
