Serendipitous 63032

Made a trip to the 'big city' yesterday, and a stones throw off the interstate is a big box sportsmans store. They carry a small selection of Case knives, but the last few times I've stopped they haven't had anything new, so I almost just blew by. But, we had some extra time so I decided to check 'em out just in case.

They happened to have a 63032 CV Chestnut Bone Stockman, which they've never carried before. I've been wanting one for a while 'cause it has lots of things I like - Chestnut Bone, CV steel, and a pen blade instead of the spey. My eyes lit up when I saw it under the glass counter!

Anyway, after CE'ing & CF'ing the display model, which I wasn't satisfied with, it was with bated breath that I asked "Do you have any more?" (Yes!) Well, long story short, the second (and only) other one was waaay better, so I brought her home.

This is the very pattern SunnyD gave me a little over two years ago.

I have used it a lot. Its the knife that made the stockman my favorit pattern and 3,5 my favorit size. It helped me understand how useful a sheapfoot is. the use of it has made me appritiate CV and its the knife that made me open my eyes for jigged bone as a nice, (the nicest material for a slipjoint mabye), handlematerial.

This has been a wonderful knife for me.

Nice! Love the Chestnut Bone. Happen to have a 63032 CV in my pocket now, amber bone. I like it a lot; enough to have bought a backup. I think you will be very pleases with it. Congrats!
