Serial Numbers on blade ??

I read on a earlier post on green Ti SOCFK's where you are describing individual serial numbers on Emerson knives. I have a Specwar Tanto tip in half serrated Green blade that has no serial number anywhere on it. Is this correct ? Are the production numbers hign on this model ? This is my first Emerson and I have a lot to learn. A mini CQC7 is next.

Hman,

The majority of production Emersons do not have a serial number. For example Raven, Commander, CQC7, SpecWar, PUK, SARK.

Where you get a limited production run such as the CN coated Commander/CQC7 set or the SOFCK series, these often carry a serial number.

Some of the models were serialized when they first came out. I believe to like the first thousand (not exactly sure on the number).

My carry Commander is a '98 that has a serial number. The Green-T Commanders that came out earlier this year were serialized.
