Serial Numbers on Production Emerson??

Hi there guys,
First off let me apoligize for my stupid question. I was curious if anyone knows about sreialized production Emersons?? I recently picked up an absolutely beautiful little MiniCQC-7A and right under the Thumbdisk is a mark that says mini-a 481. Do they maybe serial number the first thousand?? I have a full size CQC-7B no number and a 97 Raven with no number?? Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure on the older knives, but all the new ones should be serialized if I remember correctly.

John, Don, Eric? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

It used to be the first thousand or so of a model would be serialized, but as of recently, just about everything gets a serial number.
