Good Evening Schrade Guys.
I have been sitting here sharpening a friends LB7 and after it shaved, I put the Brasso to it.
So, whats this serial number thing that showed up after the "patina" was gone?
I didn't know they had serial numbers, if that is what it is.
This one is AZ3786. Other than that it has all of what I guess is regular tang stampings. Uncle Henry SCHRADE + LB7 USA
Does that serial number help date it?
What have they been running on aftermarket?
Just curious as I know the friend might be looking for some cash.
This one surprisingly has what appeared to be an unsharpened full blade, but the back spine shows where someone has hammered with it some. Bolsters would clean up in a heart beat. No dings. Don't figure it would be all that difficult to gently grind and buff out the dings in the spine and clean it up like new, well almost...
Appreciate any info guys!
Thanks
