I have no idea. Since it looks like the background is cloth (or some kind of heavy material? ), maybe they are sitting on something. Like a series of fasteners that are coming through the cloth from the back, in which the knives are resting on?

It's a helium thing! No, seriously!. . . Kendra stands nearby inhaling helium balloons and then, at just the precise moment of the photo, exhales through a straw which is strategically located under the background fabric. This puff of helium is just enough to temporarily suspend the knife in mid air while the shot is being taken.

You really need to try this for yourself!. . . . Best part is that even if you can't get it to work, your helium person will sound like Donald Duck for the next 20 minutes!!!! . . . . You can always tell when it's photo day around here 'cause it sounds like you've reached Disney World when Kendra answers the phone!!!!

LMFAO. Thanks Jerry, now I have to figure out how to get coffee out of my keyboard and off my monitor.:D

That explains it. The other day, I thought Jerry had hired Oompa Loompas to work the shop. Those Oompa Loompas are trouble.

When I worked for the IRS and would tell tax directors that their companies owed a boat load of tax; I was often told I was crazy.... that all stopped when they hired me. (I kind of miss that job:o )
