Perhaps we should just allow all the sheath makers and sharpeners to post in the C&H forum also, after all they do many times make sheaths and sharpen custom knives....Oh wait, I get it. They're not allowed to because they haven't been "Invited".......

I had nothing to do with this thread at all, but it seems that Mr. SuperMod has ticked off a SERIOUS number of participants by YET another example of arbitrary and previously unheralded over-zealousness.

No worries, Steve. Noone can pay me enough to grace that forum ever again. There are numerous makers whom feel the same. Many of those members are ticked off also, they just don't start threads calling people names. I asked for discourse and got the same old name calling crap as usual.

The threads were returned by me where they came from. Your quote was a response to this to put things in context:

How many people are drawn to the forum by a super mod that wants to puff his chest and put everyone in their place? I'll hazard a guess that runs many off and draws zero in.

A super mod that wants to disregard what so many people want so he or she can be the ultimate hall monitor warrior is the kind of thing that will ruin a forum.

The fact that ShopTalk was divided up into those other sub-forums has only hurt the community of makers and created forums where threads go to die. Sweeping threads like Nathan's and Scott's into those sink holes is a mistake.

After these same people pitching a fit about Stacy moving their threads a new forum was created and ends up just another forum that they refuse to use as intended while everyone else uses the gallery and H&T just fine.

I have been informed that there are close to a hundred people who have lobbied for my banning on BFC....they must not be fans.....or have much of a sense of humor....or maybe don't know jack about knives, and have a thin skin about it.



It is my job to destroy things with a damascus crowbar, Gary.....I also hit people with it...it's also a superb back scratcher...great fun!!!

But to get this straight, are you actually trying to step in for the same "makers" now that "overrun" CaH with their WIPs and should have no place in CaH alltogether (as per your own words)?
