Latest version of what has become a signature piece for me. Pattern goes back at least fifteen years.
Blade steel is Takefu VG10 core san mai with hollow ground bevels and a full tapered tang.
Bolsters are 416 stainless, masterfully engraved by Marcello Pedini.
Scales are stabilised Giraffe bone with black fibre liners. Domed jimping and scale pins are brass. Stones are Garnet cabochons in brass and stainless settings.
Overall length is 13 1/2 inches.
