This is my first knife completed since the Blade show,a new pattern with some bone I've never seen before that I bought at the Blade show. This is a jack knife in a serpentine pattern the smooth bone scales are dyed Sunset Amber.
The blade is Sandvik 14C28N stainless @ 60 Rc,.075"x2 1/4",it pivots on a stainless steel bushing and has stainless steel washers to prevent radial tang scratches, and I finished it at a 400 grit hand finish.
The integral bolster/liner/caps are milled out of 416 stainless and I finished them off at a 1000 grit hand finish.
The smooth Sunset Amber bone is hand sanded to 1000 grt and polished.
This is a copy of a knife pattern that my Grandmother Robinson carried in her purse.

Beautiful knife - really clean lines. Love the look of the blade.
And that Sunset Amber bone is outstanding!

Yes this Sunset Amber is really pretty and something different for a change. I bought several pieces of it at the Blade show and I'm sure I'll be buying more.
