MODS....Please don't move this thread to the Levine forum. I posted there about this knife twice and received only one response. I'd like to give the Traditional Community a shot at it........Thanks......Bruno

I'm trying to ID this jack but hit a dead end. Can someone tell me if this is a Remington? If not, what else could it be?
If there were stampings or etching on the blades, they're long gone.
The knife measures 3 3/4" closed and has brass liners.
On page 90 of the Remington Knives book by Stewart/Ritchie, they show the R1363 pattern and it looks identical which leads me to believe it might be a Remington..........BUT............the books says the R1363 is 3 1/2", my knife is 3 3/4".

Thanks in advance......Bruno

The knife is deffinately old and so is the patern. Many knife makers put a shield symbol on there handles. I am no expert and I would be looking at the old knife catalogs and go from there.
