I see Knifeworks have the Serrata up for sale, anybody got one yet? Curious to know how that blade cuts. Also how sharpening it will affect its performance.

Depending on USPS's mood, I may have one tomorrow. I have some experience with the cast 440C David Boye has used and found it holds an edge pretty well. I'm a light user so I can't give you any hard use comparisons. One of our main go to kitchen knives for the last fifteen to twenty years was/is cast 440C made by David Boye and it can be made hair shaving sharp fairly easily, even with my amateur sharpening skills. So, I expect the Serrata, in the least, to be comparable.

Jim Howe, of Howe's Knife Shop, said he is surprised at how much he likes his and that it will become one of his main camp knives. Mike

And only crazy people are up this late. I expect you'll receive more comments when the sun is up.:D
Then again, I just noticed your location. It's too late for me to actually use my brain, but I'm guessing the sun is already up at your house.

That's interesting to read! I look forward to hearing about them.

I just ordered one, it may take some time to get over here. I'm very curious how it compares to the Stuart Ackermann serrata.
