Have one, curious about others' experiences.

Hard use? Batonning? Any failures? Edge wear in regular outdoor use?
Not concerned with the 440C material, but the cast method still has me bemused & I have not had a chance to work with this one yet. :)

I need to give it a good workout, but wanted to know how it's doing for those who already have first.

I had one for a few weeks. I really liked it but it was just one more fixed blade too many so I passed it on. In the short time I had it I was impressed with it's sharpen-ability - could really take a keen edge - and good edge retention. It carried nicely but I did not really give it a hard field test. Kept it pretty new until I decided to keep or pass.

I only baton to illustrate how it can be done, but considering the cast crystalline structure I was wondering about impact strength should it become necessary.

The link to the other thread was also helpful.
