yeh ive contemplated that purchase for awhile now. its been in and out of my shopping cart for something like 6 months id say. dunno if ill ever pull the trigger

Can't say I care at all for serrated blades. Interesting though, I didn't know there was a serrated 11.

I'm with Warrior, I have yet to feel the need for serations. It still looks pretty neat though!

I just like that the Sheath looks like the profile of the knife! It always kind of bothered me the tanto sheath shape of the standard ones. :o

if one of these fell into my lap, i'll take it, but i'm not paying retail :)

heh

I am *this* close to putting serrations on my 11, but along the spine. I need 'um on that knife for the usage niche I have it in. Somedaay...

I love the 11! If it came without the serrations I would already own one. This is an Amazon exclusive BTW...want it but those damned serrations!

Uh, they make all kinds of BK11's without serrations.

I'm that rare minority that actually like serrations.
My first real folder was a Gerber Eazy-Out. I thought the serrations were heaven sent!
I used that bad boy to cut through everything from broken tow lines to cutting sheet rock!
My heart broke when I finally broke the blade after 6 years of hard use.
I'd love to have to have an 11 or 14 with serrations!
May have to look this one up!

Here is my "thing" with serrations. I feel that 95+% of the time, the serrations are on the wrong side. MOST people- not all- but most, are right handed. The serrations on the BK11 pictured are on the right side for a right handed user. IMHO, better still, are equal serrations on BOTH sides. Then it would be ambidextrous. I do own one knife with serrations, that i bought when i was young. It has seen use, but not much.
