Came across a used serrated BK2 for under $60 so I got it and decided to strip the blade and polish it like my other BK2.

I wanted to keep part of the coating on the handle so I wouldn't have to polish too much of the knife so I taped it back with some packing tape.

After being soaked in stripper spray for a half hour I scraped it with a plastic spatula. I scraped the rest with a razorblade.

The coating came off much easier on this one than my Ka-bar made one. The steel also seemed to be different as well.

Starting to polish with some sandpaper

The steel couldn't be polished down like the Ka-bar steel could. Interesting. Still is very nice stripped. Starting to get addicted to this becker stripping thing

You done good man. The steel is different. where'd you score that one at?

One of those auction websites ;). It was worth it. Not a big fan of serrations but a Camillus Serrated becker seemed somewhat rare and for some reason I have an affinity to rare knives. Plus under $60 used or new Becker is good to me. I'm a slut...and a cheap one at that :)

you seem to have flint knapped your BK2 a lot. many chips :) i get they'll sand out :>
