I am looking for a good serrated "second" blade. Basically, I would carry only for the occasions of rope, webbing cutting, etc. I have been eyeing the CS ProLite Tanto Serrated but I was curious about serrated blades.

What is the best serrated blade shape? Does anyone have a good recco for a serrated under $50.00??

Thanks,

I asked this awhile back, and some people said "kit carson serrations" were best, others said "Spyderco".

I agree with Dave.....Spyderco has the best useful serrated blade configuration,
the SpyderEdge.

Depending on what size knife/blade you're looking for, you can choose from either the Delica or the larger Endura for your cutting needs. These Spydies can be found with a fully SpyderEdged configuration, if needed, and both are within your price range. ;)

Good Luck
