Has buck ever made a knife with a fully serrated blade? I would really like to get a 560 with a full serate. now that would cut.

Yes, we did make a couple.

The CrossLock River Rafter (180-RR) is a full-size, single bladed folder with a fully serrated Sheepsfoot (Sheepfoot?) blade. And the 180-D3 is a two-bladed verision with a regular drop pointe and a fully serrated Sheepsfoot.

As for fixed blade knives we made a Nighthawk with a fully serrated blade (655bx). Nasty!

IMHO I doubt that many people consider a fully serrated blade to be a 'knife' in the classic sense. But I for one am a fan of partial serrations which help in cutting dense materials, but also gives you a crisp knife blade to use.

what year were those nighthawks made? None lying around the shop are there?:)

Never knew Buck made a fully-serrated blade of any type!
