well I hit an antique store this morning early and I saw this case trapper new in the clam package. and sort of just passed by, but I did notice that it had beautiful wood handles and a serrated blade which I had never noticed before. Anyway I was on to keep looking for schrades and such. After the day was done and I headed home I found myself thinking about that case knife. Finally I raced back there 30 some miles so I could get there before they closed. The dealer had $30.00 on the knife I offered $25 and I took it home for $28.00. Im not a case collector but I do have a dozen or so. I thought $30.00 was a pretty good deal for pretty much any case knife that looked this good. My question to you guys is this, What would this perticular knife bring on ebay or something, just out of curiousity. the numbers on the blade are 7254 and I really want to take it out of the package to play with it. But there is a chance of me not keeping it so should I leave it alone or do you guys have an opnion on this subject? Anyway I thought it was a neat looking trapper with the serrated blade anyone got anymore info on these cause like I said I dont see a lot of them.- thanks for the help -Joel
 
I have never seen one like it before. It is obviously a new production knife. Most of the new Case knives I see don't have wood scales and don't have serrated spey blades. I noticed the shield is somewhat unique as well. As for eBay in my opinion I think you may make several dollars or just be fortunate enough to break even. One never knows on the bay.. If I were you I would find out more about it and go from there. I suspect it was meant to be a using mans knife because of the blister packaging and for that reason is worth just about what you paid for it.
