Serrated edge Imperial

Ironrod, that's an Imperial shell handled knife with a serrated edge that was invented by Albert Baer. Same edge you see on most all kitchen knives, and Wonda Edge serrated hunters. He got a lot of royalties on that invention. The shell handles were a Mirando invention (Imperial). Not sure if those patent numbers refer to these two features, but I'd imagine they might. Nice knife, and nice early example of some long lasting characteristics.

I think I have Albert's patent laying around here somewhere, if I find it I'll post it.

Great info...thanks! I sharpened the blade it cuts like a dream. I have no doubt that I will accidentally cut myself with it some day. :0
