How do y’all like to put serrations in your blades? Is there a more defined way rather than using a small wheel on a horizontal grinder?

Use the Custom Search Engine and look up "Serrated Edges" You will get many threads on it.

The short of it is using a chainsaw file and a smooth rod taped together or held in a clamp of some sort.
I don't do them often, but I tape a smooth steel rod to a file and make a single starter cut with a file the same size. Then I place the smooth rod in that grove and file the next groove. Move the rod down one groove at a time. It really goes fast. After HT, clean up and sharpen them with a diamond file.

Below is a method another maker came up with to cut four grooves at a time. I think one at a time works better.

One at a time, post heat treat, with a Dremel and progressively finer drums.
Ive done it the David Mary way many times and produces superior serrations.... As opposed to the smaller snaggletoothed ones (which tend to snag🤪)
