serrated hest in existance

saw this on picassaweb, on RYP gallery, and even if i saw this before, now it was when it hit me , it has serrations ?!
it seems that there were different prototypes of the hest, i also see that on some early design add images it had serrations on the back
or could be that this one is just modified ?

i dont want a serrated hest, i like it just fine as is, plain
i ve posted this just for the sake of conversation,for learning more, and because ive seen threads in which some posters wanted serrated hests

The ESEE style serrations wouldn't be that difficult to add I'd think. Anyone ever try it?

Not something I’d try myself, but to a good knifemaker/sharpener like John Fitzen…..maybe.
