Serrated Opinels ???

A partly serrated Opinel. Got that from a knife dealer around here.

I did not know they were making serrated versions of their blades...

Anyone else has seen any of these ?

Neat! However, are you sure it wasn't done aftermarket? I hope Opinel is making some serrated pieces! What dealer did you get it from?

I'm not sure of anything since the knife was bought in a small village market here in France. It looks new, though, and the serrations are very even and well made. It looks either like a good knifemaker's work, or by a machine-made grind.

I asked the knife seller where he had these (he had a whole box) and he told me he got it from another guy in another market... He did not seem to care at all. These guys travel from village to village and buy/sell stuff everywhere. They just don't worry about anything...

I've asked the company. No answer yet.
