I'm sure this question's been posted many times before, but here we go again.Let me start by saying, when I first started collecting folders,I almost always opted for the combo blade. Now I find myself buying more strait blades than serrated.Don't get me wrong, the two both have their advantages.First of all I think the combo blade takes away from the attractivness & usefullness of the blade.I mean, you either need one or the other, right?IMO,When it's cut in half,it's just taking away from the overall usefullnes of the knife.Lately I'll find myself carrying one fully serrated(usually spyderco native)& one strait blade(depends on what day..lol)now.When I'm hunting/camping I'll usually carry a 5"-6" fixed blade with a sawback + a couple of small back-up folders,as well as a reliable hatchet. What do you guys think?
