Serrated Sebenzas?

I'm thinking about ordering a new small plain Sebenza and was wondering what your thoughts were on serrations. I cut a fair amount of rope/string and small vines and wondering if serrations would help. Is there any downside to having a combo blade? Crks serrations seem to be pretty easy to sharpen as well so that shouldn't be an issue. Anyone have any pictures of theirs? Thanks!

I am thinking that the serrated options on a folding knife have been discontinued. Some dealers may have them though.

I called Crk a couple of weeks ago and they are going o be discontinued soon but aren't yet.

Oooh..Lucky on that. This was bought up several months ago..Sooner than later is probably a good idea.

Just under the wire then eh?

I like mine also. The CRK serrations are quite unique. Worth getting one, for sure.

I love my small serrated so much. Always carry two knives and the small is always one of them. So very handy.

I have one serrated Sebenza. I like it.... not sure I love it.

Ditto on serrations, They are great! Easy to sharpen, very aggressive on rope, cardboard , etc. The do not get in the way of any chore I've come across....

Ahh man! I was all excited to order a new Sebenza and forgot they are closed on Fridays haha. I called like 3 times before I remembered. Guess Ill just have to wait until Monday. Thanks guys!

Actually you don't have to order one. There are authorized dealers on eBay that has them.
Also, New Graham Knives has them and they support BFC.

Those are combo edges, a serrated knife blade is fully serrated, just look at Spyderco. Does CRK do full serrations?

^^ I have never seen a fully serrated Sebenza, or even heard of them being made before.

I hope you get your knife Smitty!

Potatoe, potato...take your trolling shit elsewhere.

I had a Large 21 with serrations. I already had a few users, so it just sat in its box. I sold it. However, I still have a Small 21 with serrations and Micarta Inlays. I sent it in to have double thumb lugs added. I like the serrations on the Small 21. They are aggressive, but not overly so. I can push cut cardboard with them nearly the same as using a plain edge. They are made to be sharpened on a flat home to minimize the need for special equipment. One less thing to carry in the field. I am almost 100% sure the Small 21 is the only knife with serrations that I still own. I like the 21, the Micarta Inlays feel good, And it looks good with serrations.
