serration-ectomy on Vic Spirit?

I really like my Victorinox Spirit mulit tool except for the goofy serrated, one-sided, knife blade. How would I go about removing the shallow serrations and maybe sharpening the other side of the blade too? Is this a simple procedure for a novice at sharpening/grinding?

Simple: just sharpen it as if the serrations weren't there. Vic steel is pretty soft, on a medium or coarse stone, those serrations will be gone after a few sharpenings.
