serration on blades

Spyderco makes a Tri-Angle Sharpmaker which, from what I hear, makes sharpening the serrations fairly easy. I have seen a post from another member praising a video that shows how to sharpen knives, as well. I think that post may be in the General Knife Discussion Forum. Someone else with more knowledge may be able to better comment on this. I hope what little I have contributed may be of some help though. :-)

I own a ton of serrated knives (Spyderco and others) the ONLY way to properly and easily sharpen them is on a Sharpmaker. Don't be afraid of serrations, the only big disadvantage of serrations (IMO) is that depending on their design they can catch on what you're cutting, tearing it rather than slicing it.

Slider, before I got my Sharpmaker,I always bought plain blades because I was afraid to try sharpening the serrations. Now, I almost always order the combo or serrated blades because they come from the factory so sharp, and I know that I can keep them that way with very little effort.Get a Sharpmaker 204 and be not afraid!
