serrations on Matriarch/Civilian

I have been wondering about this and have been meaning to ask this for a while now

Has anybody compared the serrations on the Matriarch and the Civilian?

The serrations on my Matriarch seem a lot deeper (I guess would be the word) and sharper than on my Civilian. The Civilian is my favorite knife and I wish I could copy my Matriarch serrations over to my Civilians.

Has anyone else noticed this or do I just have a well cut Matriarch?

Maybe its the age of the two. Spyderco is always improving things, maybe one has been tweeked. :)

I checked out my collection of Civilians and my older Matriarchs (No Boye Detent), and I couldn't see much of a difference in the depth of serrations. Admittedly, I didn't measure the cuts, but my non-calibrated eyeballs indicated little variation (with one exception...a GIN1 bladed Civilian seemed to have slightly shallower cuts in the serrations that the others, but again this is possibly due to being a used knife, or manufacturing variation, or both). I have many of the Civilians (not quite ALL of them yet but working on it!) and both a grey and black Matriarch to compare.
