or send it back to cold steel and they can sharpen them...at leasy they used too...not sure anymore, but yeah i avoid them myself. plain edge i prefer.
The thing about their serrations is they are great for what they were designed for not for utility. Best to keep them factory fresh for those special moments haha
I have the best luck with serrations by stropping the back edge of them. As in I strop the side of the blade where the serrations are on the opposite side ofnwherenthenserration scallops are cut. This isn't idealnbut it seems to really extend the cutting life of all the serrations I've sonfar encountered.
I have never owned a CS w/serrations. What is the opinion of them compared to other offerings. Like I have a Spyderco Pacific Salt with SE and it is a cutting machine and easy to touch up on the Sharpmaker.
