Welcome to bladeforums. Let me say I really love many of your fixed blades, like your folders, but I hate the serrations you use. They are almost impossible to sharpen, they don't cut that well, and they are ugly, like a cheap kitchen knife. Why do use the serration pattern that you do, and is there any way you might change it soon?

I've used the ER1 and Vaquero Grande, both with those tiny serrations, and I like them. They don't grab and get hung up like the sawtooth kind.

Granted, no serrations are a pleasure to sharpen, but my ER1 didn't get dull because it didn't get that kind of use, and the VG is a chopper and slasher I use in the woods, and I just steel it on the flat side to straighten the edge.

If I'd had a choice, I'd have gotten the VG with a plain edge. I do think the serrations are ugly as ugly can be.

If you want a Microtech style serration pattern on your Cold Steel knife, just call me.

Turber, I've seen scans - you do excellent work. Keep offering yourself out and you'll have more jobs than you can shake a tooth at !

I'm thinking that my standard office-issue letter opener (with the full-tang, no scales handle, lanyard hole, and the 6" dagger point blade) would be real kewl with one side toothy ...

You won't find THAT one at your local Office Depot !
