Finally put the set together. I couldn't be as picky as I wanted regarding the type of bark, but I still like what I have. I built a light tent and took some photos. Still have some practice to get to the quality of some of the photos I've seen on here, but the light tent does help. So here's my set. I'd also like others to post your mammoth, whether a set or not. I just enjoy admiring the range of styles and colors they provide.

Nice pics! I really like that you have all different damascus patterns. Which one is your favorite?

Here's my current trio, with another inbound...

The blues and greens on this one.......

The basket weave is my favorite pattern. On the raindrop I like the way the pattern appeared when ground to show what almost appears to be sunbursts.

There's something about your white one with the brown veins that really strikes me. I think that is an awesome bark!

Of the damascus, I think I favor the raindrop. But I've never seen a basketweave in person. Which mammoth do you like best? I think I favor your Mnandi

Both with the Spirograph pattern.

Wow! Those are great! Maybe this was a bad idea being as coveting is not a good thing.

magnificent knifes Dhbranum, do you use them?

I do. I want to enjoy them, not hold to re-sell them. The small will get less carry time and the Mnandi very little since the large is my favorite and the Mnandi strikes me as a dress up knife, and I very seldom get dressed up.

My favorite is the small. It was my first and I really like the darker bark. Mnandi is my second. The large is "nice". Kind of a bummer since larges are my favorite, but it is what is is. I feel blessed to have gotten the three.

I get what you mean there. I'd love to have gotten a set, but I prioritized the bark over the style of knife. Thus I have 3 smalls, and my inbound is a small. Of my 2 non-damascus, they're all bark instead of interior. The inbound one is very dark and 'barky', a nice contrast to the medium colorful one and the stark white with a little veining. Here's the seller's pic that I posted in the Anticipation Thread...

Very nice set, I particularly like the bark pattern on your Mnandi.
Here is my current collection of mammoth CRK's.

Very nice, impressive collection! Looks like it could represent the different layers of the tusk.

There are some real beautiful knives here! Thanks for sharing! Here is my ivory small 21! I love it!!!

Great photo! The knife has a very "classy" look and the photo really captures that.
