Set of production Wardens

I may sell of a complete set of Wardens and I have not watched the exchange over the past two months.

Anyone have any idea what they might be worth as a set? Anyone have any idea? Or do you think I should go one at a time?

To keep it simple you could say cost plus some percntage.

That would be:
1.LE Snake, 2. Tan, 3.Black micarta, 4.Green linen, 5.SMOG, 6.serrated SMOG, 7. Red G-10, 8. Fried Green, 9. Tiger, 10. SAR, 11. Orange Satin, 12. Black G10, 13. Black Skeleton, 14. Muddy Skeleton, 15. Red Fire Warden, 16. Black Tiger, 17. Leprecon, 18 Sage.

Sell them one by one!

It is just so hard to find one person (like you) have right amount of money in hand. Sell warden seperatly will always get more although it is more troublesome.

My advice is.....DO NOT sell Satin Warden that is NOT G-10 handle. At least not for 1-2 yrs.

All warden might be droping price due to market flow...after all,

SATIN WARDENs ARE THE KINGS!!! Especially non G-10 ones.

4-5k

averaging about 225-300 per
 
as a set, id say 4000.00 would be fair. but like wu said, it would be hard to find someone with the available cash to spend all at once.

individually, though, some would sell quick, and some would linger. prices on them have come down considerably in the last couple months.
 
Considering some of the rarer wardens in the production set (satin/green linen, LE, satin/red g10)... I wouldn't think you would be out of line to ask 15% to 20% or so over cost IMHO.:confused:

I've actually been thinking of selling a production set myself.... If you decide to go for it, I'll certainly be watching your thread Tony.:) :thumbup:

I have about 10 GWs worth about 2,500 buckaroos. These are not custome jobs.

I understand there about 25 + GWs now. So figure 250 - 300 each you are in the $6250 - $8000 range.
 
There may be that many if you coumt Ganzas but of the ones sold at the Co Store I think there are 18.

i cant think of any you are missing from the bcs sales.

i think an average price of 240.00 is a good starting point.
 
There are one or two I might be interested in! ;)

In reality, as it was said above, selling one by one will probably net you more $$ and move them quicker than trying to sell them as a set. That is a lot of dinero for someone to drop all at once...
 
I have to agree with the individual as opposed to lot sale Tony. I have done it both ways and it is tough to find someone with that kind of scratch.
 
Currently, there are only 18 in the production set... I've never really tallied with all the ganza and bad warden combos. Boss Hog said in a thread somewhere that the production set is what is and will be released at BCS.

I think it would be pretty tough to find a buyer for a complete set... I think you would be better off selling a couple at a time.
 
Another for breaking up the family.....no doubt that some folks have Deep pockets, but you would have to find someone completely new..otherwise most interested folks already have a few if not most of these.....separate you can charge a premium for the more desirable ones.
 
Don't listen to these folks.

Put up the set, and see what kind of trade offers you get, you might find someone willing to trade a full campy group, or a T-top Firebird, who knows what kind of offers you could get.

Than after you get a tally of everyone who wants to buy seperate knives dump 'em all in a hurry.
 
the satin/green linen is worth a couple k by now. you could sell the set and whoever bought it could keep what they wanted and sell off the rest.... maybe an idea.
 
take your set, put an average price of 200 on each knife, have that as your reserve and put them on ebay. let it fly, you might get a hun or a thou more. you'll never know as drunk as you am.... :D

hmmm.......very interesting, I'll be very interested in this GW complete set end result.

Yep, the chuckchete would easily be worth over $4000.00 and Contender's Magnum custom one of a kind done by the big man himself Argonne Assault would probably be close to $4K, maybe $3500. Maybe the Megalodon is up there but not right at it.
