Well, my first official sale.....these should make someone smile.......all 0-1 and sheaths by me. I have blisters on my pinky from sewing them...... :D

Mr. Goode, those are really nice! Nice to have 3 for first sale, too. Mr. Goode is good, no pun intended.

Thanks guys. I couldn't be doing this without all of you here! ;)

Lovely Work!!

He did notify you of the change in ship to address, didn't he?
The address is mine.
hahahahaha

I wish.
Knives and sheath great sruff!
Tom

Dang....TOB9595...For a sec I was like....what?? address change??

I may have to be posting on this site before too long :)

Those are really great looking. i know who ever they go to will be happy with them. did you use a drill press to drill the holes in your sheaths or a hole punch?

Terry, I used a drill press. I tried the punch and I stink at that! I am going to get some hints from a leathersmith in a month or so. I'll pass them on to you guys........

Fine looking knives and sheaths B.G.!!
I like the colors of the sheaths. Did you dye the leather yourself or guy it that color?
I use my drill press to make the holes in my sheaths for stitching. I use a 3/32" bit and stitch em up with black 80 pound dacron fishing line. Kinda tough on the hands for the first dozen or so sheaths but you get used to it.
Better get to work on some knives now!
Guarantee you're going to be getting orders when folks start seeing those three.
Take care!!
Michael

I died the sheaths myself. I think I will try to get that aged look next time.

My background is in sculpture and I used to make things look nast but pretty ;)

So I think I'll try my hand at that.....

I am just trying to get used to knifemaking first :D Its a tough thing to accomplish...but man, when you do....... :D :D :D

Congratulations on the first sale and those are some good looking blades. The sheaths also look good. Time to grind some more!!!!!

I know this sounds sappy....but something in the last 4 weeks just clicked.....I feel like I am ready for the next step.....whatever that may be.

rlinger, thats was the best thing you could have said ;)

Knives and sheaths, very sweet. Yes, there will be smiles on the face of your customer. Good work.

BL, I have been watching you grow for a long time and I am very pleased. I remember helping to steer you into O1 way back in your beginnings. For some reasons, some explainable and some not so explainable, I strayed into high alloy steels way early in my attempts to learn and left O1 behind me. O1 is an exceptional blade steel and you seem to be doing well with it.

Beware, soon you will no longer be able to dream up knife patterns to have fun with. You will be swamped with customer orders. I hope you and I both are going to continue to be happy with that.

Very nice, Brian. And done in a rather short time as well. You're on your way!
