Set up one of my tree stands with a little help from the king.

A few days ago I hung one of my stands in anticipation of deer season.
I used the 9 to remove some branches and foliage and clear shooting lanes.

Here it is fastened to my pack.

The 9 paired up nicely with my ESEE-4.





Cant wait for archery season to begin less than 3 weeks here.:D
 
NICE. Its to hot to think about deer hunting ALMOST. I pulled an old one to repair/replace it a few weeks ago and had the 9 on hand. Didn't really get to chop too much on that one but it made short work on the little whippets and new growth.

4 weeks 2 days....
 
Yeah, I sweat like a pig hanging that stand.
The mosquitoes were brutal and I found out too late that my bug spray leaked in my pack.
 
I sure do like seeing my "kids" earning their keep !......

This creature was lurking around my stand, but he must have smelled my BK9 in the area because he didn't stick around long.
