Setting an avatar

I don't know how to set an avatar here. I think I may use a GIF if it will work. I just need help on getting it in. Thanks in advance.

Start here, dkb: settings (top right of this screen) > edit avatar (left side of that screen).

Ok got how to do it. Now I just need to learn how to determine size and stuff to find a suitable GIF. I kind of have grandparent levels of computer understanding.

from me under standing you have the item that you want to use on your computer and it fits it in the spot. size it down for you too.

I hate to bother you guys with this but I cannot set my avatar too...
I tried to find if there are any rules or if my account have some limitations as a new member in regard of setting avatar but no luck...
Following your instructions in the Setting Avatar screen I got this:

...And I cannot figure it out how to disable the radio button...
Any explanation or help please...?

I guess I figured it out... It's the membership...
I just purchase Basic membership... :thumbup:

Now that you have a Basic membership, go to Settings (upper right) and then to Permission Groups (left side) and select it to update your color and title.
