Well one of the things that I don't like about the EdgePro is also one of its great strengths, the continually variable angle. This becomes even more of an annoyance when using the 180 grit stone which is thicker than the other stones. So I decided to cut a piece of rock maple at a 15 degree angle and use this to assure that I get a consistent angle, obviously you can make as many templates as you like for various profiles. A piece about 3 or 4 inches long seems to work well.
