I have 3 Emersons...one CQC7B and two CQC7A's. One of my A's had a problem where if I pressed the back of the open blade with medium pressure the lock would creak and start to slide back over part ways. This morning I took the knife, tried it again, it did it as usual. Then I moderately whacked the back of the blade against my thigh (not as test of lock strength but to try something new). There was one slight click sound. Now I notice the lock is rock-solid even with hard hand pressure to the back of the open blade. Did I actually "set" the lock somehow that eliminated the sliding problem? It seems that as of now, no matter how hard I try, I cannot recreate the problem and so I am happy as a clam.
Anyone else have such experience?
