No fans of the new 710 - Seven Ten? I have had a lot of the earlier versions, and kept some of them. I have to say that the new version with updated omega springs are amazing. Perfect when it comes to fit and finish, and with S90 - one of my favorite steels!

I like the new lock springs, but the handles were so slick to be useless for me in actual use.
If the one I'd bought had G10 scales like the original, I would have kept it.

It is true G10 is more grippy. But I think that after market scales will show up. much easier to make them for sven ten than for 710. I think that I will give it a try.

They need to just bring back the regular with the updated springs. Or even the old ones. original G10 scales with cpm-d2 satin blade. You aren’t hearing much about this because it’s too damn expensive and not nearly as good looking as the original

I love my Seven Ten. The fit and finish and action are perfect. S90V steel is a great choice for a thin, high-performance slicing knife like this -- way better than D2.

I would have chosen a different blade coating -- or none at all. Still, But that's a minor issue. The handle texture could have been more aggressive, but it feels good in the hand.
