Greetings Bladeforums,

Here are some quick pics of my latest knives for the upcoming Mystic, CT knifeshow.

Hope you like!

I work out of my friend and contemporary Herb Kettell's shop in Durham. This means a 40 minute drive to use a belt sander. Needless to say, I do a lot of my work on the kitchen counter and coffee table. Here is my bookcase/sheath drying rack. Can you count how many sheaths? Can you find Waldo?

I like that little thumbnail, especially the way the fluting on the handle seems to match the filework on the blade. Not to mention what seems to be just a little bit of controlled heat coloring. Fancy but simple at the same time.

Thanks Dan,

You are correct about the heat coloring. Actually what looks like filework is fluting that was not completely ground away. I did the fluting before I ground the bevels in. I wanted to see what it looked like. Turns out it looks like filework!

Cheers,

Nick

I absolutely love the first one. The other's are great, too- but the first one is just really appealing to me!

Very nice Nick!

I really like the last 1, looks a scandi crossed with a skinner:thumbup:
cheers
