Caleb Royer is getting married as you read this, so please everybody give him your very best wishes. Tremendous fellow is Caleb, I love his work.

Luckily, this image of Bens Talisman was completed before Caleb's wedding and Honeymoon, so I will take the opportunity to share here. Some of you may have seen this at the BLADE show, where it won an award for the handle I believe and will feature in the magazine at some point.

A simply stunning knife in every way. Thank you Ben, David and Caleb.

Seward Talisman:

8.5" 1084 steel
Koa handle checkered by Ben Himself
Zirconium guard with brass details
Sheath By his Father David.

Took me a second to see where you were going with that Dudley. :D

Congratulations to Caleb and his new bride.

Congratulations to Ben on the award, well deserved. I love to see makers that checker their own handles, it elevates the knife in my mind.

David's work is always impressive. Not to mention he is a great guy.

Congratulations on your new knife Skirmish.

Now we're talking! Superb checkering, excellent fit and finish, and a sheath that matches the knife. Perfect package. Props to all involved!

Ps. most makers should follow this example. Don't put a fine knife in a Janky looking sheath !

That is an awesome looking knife.

Best Regards,

:)What a superb piece and photo. Thanks for sharing.

That knife felt like a trusty old rifle in your hands with that gorgeous texturing. Definitely one of the more memorable pieces from Blade.
