Sewing machine question.

Been keeping an eye out for a machine I can sew leather with. This one popped up and I know nothing about it. Any of you say a quick yes or no...

Listed as "Very old industrial sewing machine ". No other details.

Don't know anything about that particular machine personally. However, from the pics it looks like it is too light for most leatherwork. Useful for boot tops perhaps?
 
I have to agree with Dave. Might be okay for canvas, etc. but it's not even configured correctly for boot top work, plus I doubt spare parts would be very easy to find. If it's REALlY cheap and you enjoy headaches, it might be considered, otherwise it's kind of like a "Free Horse" which there is no such thing as.:cool:
