Sex or Chicago style screws(2-56)

I bought a Benchmade knife the other day to check out the opening mechanism(assisted opening). While taking apart..I noticed entire knife put together with 2-56 machine screws and female sex nuts..in stainless. The female ends were much like a miniature pivot pin with shouldered cap. Have been googling all morning..no luck. Anyone have a source for something similar...about 1/4 - 3/8" overall length? Thanks
